origin

The Three Gold Rings project started as an Instagram page in January of 2021 aiming to provide a dedicated space through which I could share creative projects in depth and connect with other artists from around the world. It remains a small-scale entity but has since shifted its focus solely to analogue collage, taking on its own identity in the process.

INSPIRATION

My work takes inspiration from all forms of media, notably adopting a surrealist approach to scale, composition, and subject matter. The materials used range from magazine clippings and flyers to food packaging and vintage postcards, and are continually sourced wherever I happen upon something visually appealing. For me, the joy of collage is the act of uniting totally unrelated elements, thus bringing into existence something unique that didn’t exist before. Being instinctively drawn to tangible objects and analogue processes, I create most of my work by hand, only relying on technology where alterations would be impossible otherwise.
